SRBA and the Cancer Science Institute (CSI) of Singapore co-hosted the inaugural group meeting – a quarterly event to highlight RNA research by graduate and postdoctoral fellows. Following the talks, participants chit chatted over light refreshments.
We had three fantastic talks from graduate students Hong Kee Tan from the Tenen lab at CSI (NUS), Fursham Hamid from the Makeyev lab at NTU, and Jie Min Nah from the Guo lab at IMCB (A*STAR). Read about their research in RNA binding proteins, alternative splicing, and translational control here.
Jie Min Nah (Guo lab, IMCB) presents her work on specialized ribosomes and receives great questions and feedback from the audience.Food and conversation after the talks!
